Sansui AU-D7 Integrated Amplifier Silver MM/MC Serviced + Free Voltage Converter
Discover the classic Sansui AU-D7, a Japanese-made stereo integrated amplifier introduced in 1980. Its brushed aluminium front panel, substantial controls and distinctive illuminated power display make it an attractive addition to any vintage Hi-Fi system.
This amplifier has been professionally inspected and serviced by our specialised technical team and is working perfectly. Before dispatch, it will undergo a further preventive inspection and functional check to ensure it leaves our premises in excellent working order.
This Japanese domestic version delivers 65 watts per channel into 8 ohms across 20 Hz–20 kHz, with a rated total harmonic distortion of just 0.009%. It offers ample power for a wide variety of compatible Hi-Fi loudspeakers.
The AU-D7 features Sansui’s Linear A amplification system, diamond differential circuitry and a DC power amplifier design. Its dynamically controlled bias system was developed to reduce crossover distortion while maintaining efficient operation.
The striking dual-channel LED peak power display provides a visual indication of output levels. Selectable display ranges make it useful at different listening volumes, while its distinctive appearance adds considerable vintage appeal.
Vinyl enthusiasts will appreciate the built-in phono stage with selectable moving-magnet and moving-coil operation. Additional connections include Tuner, AUX and two tape loops, providing flexibility for a complete vintage audio setup.
Four tone controls—Super Bass, Bass, Presence and Treble—allow detailed adjustment of the sound. A tone defeat switch, loudness function, balance control and mode selector provide further listening options.
Additional features include a headphone output, selectable speaker systems A and B, and an independent recording selector. The rear panel carries the original Japanese 100 V, 50/60 Hz power specification.
A suitable external voltage converter will be INCLUDED FREE OF CHARGE, selected according to the mains voltage in the buyer’s country and providing the correct 100 V supply for this amplifier. Whether your local supply is 110/120 V or 220/240 V, we will supply the appropriate converter. The amplifier itself must be powered from 100 V.
Dimensions are approximately 430 × 148 × 327 mm (W × H × D), with a net weight of approximately 10.2 kg, excluding the converter and packaging. The photographs show the actual item offered, including its cosmetic condition and age-related marks. It will be carefully packed for transport.
