TechnoGold Audio & Vintage Marbella proudly presents this exceptional Denon DP-59L, one of Denon’s most highly regarded turntables from the golden age of Japanese analogue audio.

Introduced in 1984, the DP-59L combines an extremely stable quartz-controlled direct-drive motor, a substantial high-gloss rosewood-finish cabinet and Denon’s sophisticated Dynamic Servo Tracer tonearm technology.

This is the desirable original European-market version operating directly on 220/240V – 50Hz. No external voltage transformer is required for use in Europe or other compatible 220–240V countries.

Its bi-directional quartz PLL servo system continuously corrects both increases and decreases in rotational speed. The electronic brake, extremely low speed deviation and 1,000-pulse magnetic speed-detection system provide exceptional accuracy and stability.

The 325mm die-cast aluminium platter is 7mm thick and weighs approximately 2.2kg. Combined with the high-torque AC servo motor and substantial 15kg construction, it provides excellent resistance to vibration and outstanding rotational inertia.

The original interchangeable PCL-59 straight tonearm features Denon’s Dynamic Servo Tracer system with electronic Q-Damping. This technology controls low-frequency resonance caused by warped or eccentric records while allowing excellent compatibility with high-compliance cartridges.

Operation is semi-automatic: the record is started manually, while the contact-free detection system automatically raises the tonearm and stops the platter at the end of the record, protecting both the stylus and vinyl.

The electronic pitch control offers adjustment of up to ±9.9% in precise 0.1% increments, with the selected speed shown on the integrated LCD display. Electronic antiskating and servo-controlled cueing are also provided.

The Denon DL-110 high-output moving-coil cartridge shown in the photographs is included. It has been correctly installed, aligned and tested, allowing connection to most standard MM phono inputs without requiring a dedicated low-output MC transformer.

This unit has been completely inspected, serviced, calibrated and extensively tested by TechnoGold’s specialist technicians. The motor control, Quartz Lock, speed stability, pitch control, LCD display, tonearm damping, antiskating and automatic lift system are all operating perfectly. Components outside their original tolerances have been replaced where necessary.
