Manufactured in Japan between 1980 and 1982, the SA-616 features an advanced Quartz Digital Synthesizer tuner system, delivering exceptionally stable and precise FM reception. Its massive power transformer and high-quality internal construction place it far above most modern receivers.

It delivers a true output power of 80 watts RMS per channel at 8 ohms, with an ultra-wide frequency response from 5Hz to 70kHz and an extremely low distortion level of only 0.005%, providing a powerful, clean and highly musical sound even at high listening levels.

The receiver includes Phono MM, AUX, Tape 1 and Tape 2 inputs, allowing connection of turntables, cassette decks, CD players and other vintage or modern analog audio sources. It also features A/B speaker selection, independent bass and treble controls, balance adjustment and loudness function.
