The TEAC AN-180 Dolby Noise Reduction Unit is one of the finest standalone Dolby B processors ever produced during the golden era of analogue recording. Manufactured in Japan in the 1970s, it was designed to bring professional Dolby noise reduction performance to reel-to-reel tape recorders and cassette decks that were not originally equipped with an internal Dolby system. Today it remains a highly desirable component among vintage audio collectors and serious analogue enthusiasts.
